Yangarra Estate Vineyard is a biodynamic vineyardlocated in the Blewitt Springs district of McLaren Vale, South Australia. The estate was first planted in 1946 and is home to 87 hectares of vines, led by Grenache and Shiraz. Located a 40-minute drive south of Adelaide, the McLaren Vale wine growing region has a Mediterranean climate, characterized by warm, dry summers with cool, wet winters.

This GSM is a blend of 60% Grenache, 22% Shiraz and 18% Mourvdre.A mix of spicy dark raspberry and dark cherry fruits are trailed by liquorice, light scorched earth notes and pepper.The structured palate features juicy dark to black raspberry and dark cherry fruits backed by fresh acidity and muscular tannins.Flashes of liquorice, scorched earth and spicy pepper sit underneath. Stern yet fleshy in its mouthfeel with a lightly peppered aftertaste that?s medium to long.This wine will continue to evolve with cellaring, but can also be enjoyed in its youth alongside barbequed meats.

Appearance:Deep red-black in colour.
Nose: Aromas of dark berries, spices and earth.
Taste: Black raspberry and cherry, spicy pepper, and liquorice.
