Deep and complex, quite beguiling aroma of ripe black and also some red berries with notes of tar, a little tobacco, mint and liquorice, dried herbs, rose petals and hints of juniper-etheric spice. Ripe, tightly knitted and polished, juicy, relatively dark fruit, present, yet quite fine, ripe and mellow tannins, again a little liquorice on the palate, hints of juniper and allspice as well as peppery nuances, lasting, good depth, still seems extremely fresh, precise contours, taut, juicy and mineral, almost cool finish, again with fine ethereal spice and rose aromas.

Still ruby in colour, it has an assertive floral character, with wild strawberry and pomegranate, a deep smoky woodland note, and liquorice root complexity. Theres great elegance of minerality and vibrant violet on the palate, with velvety, dusty tannins, crisp acidity, and a bit of sternness on the finish. Good length and good concentration, with a liquorice candy finish and great savouriness.
