This wine from Chile’s Maipo Valley has ripe, fruity and complex aromas of plum, blackberry and cassis, with subtle notes of bay leaves. Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, it has notes of cloves, black pepper and vanilla. The influence of the soil (angular stones, and loamy-sandy texture) is evident in this wine’s good structure and medium body with soft and round tannins. The mineral soils of volcanic origin also aid in achieving a deep and balanced wine.
