Release No. 1 of Sam Houston 12 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was launched in 2018. Barrel sampling and selection was a team effort. Trusted members of the bourbon industry, along with a select few bourbon elites were tapped for private tastings. Their choices became the barrels used to craft these inaugural batches.
