The second wine of Chateau Guiraud and made by Xavier Planty, Chateau Guiraud’s oenologist since 1982. It is a modern style with a high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc (approximately one third), made from a blend of lots fermented in stainless steel (for minerality and freshness), and new French oak barrels, which promote the development of richness, body, and intensity of flavor on the palate. Guiraud has employed organic farming methods since 1996, and obtained organic certification in 2011.
