Once upon a time in rural Shropshire one member of the village would ritually take on the sins of the recently deceased by drinking ale and eating food over the departeds body. These sin eaters would have been drinking mild ale, so in collaboration with our Shropshire born friends at Small Gods we decided to brew a malty, tawny, mild ale with a decent dose of oats.
