Guided by master distiller, Billy Walker, the Meikle Tir’ (meaning big pursuit) range from GlenAllachie Distillery expands with The Turbo 2024 Edition. It’s made by taking the heart of the heart of the distillate the spirit cut which contains the highest phenol content to amplify its smoky qualities. Mainland peat (at 70ppm), a lengthy fermentation period, and maturation in five American virgin oak casks and four oloroso sherry hogsheads further contribute to the whisky’s full-bodied character.

Nose: Smoked blood orange, cinnamon spice and manuka honey, with bursts of rich dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts.

Palate: Worn leather, baking spices and cigar box, followed by honey, hazelnuts and dried red berries.

Finish: Burnt orange peel and salted caramel.
