The restrained nose is slightly riper with a darker fruit profile and copious amounts of warm earth character along with subtle spice. There is an impressively intense and attractively textured palate impression to the sleekly muscular and well-concentrated flavors that culminate in a serious, long and beautifully complex though mildly austere finish. Worth considering if you’re willing to cellar it.
