The Syrah in this cuve comes from a south-facing parcel
Tasting notes and my impressions:
This takes the blend in a slightly different direction as the Syrah adds a different and well-played dimension. There is more structure and body from the Syrah that replaces the Cinsault. The nose is fragrantly perfumed with ripe blackberries, black cherries, roasted meats, garrigue, graphite, and elegant tobacco spice. Full-bodied and with ripe and polished tannins, this is impeccably polished and pure. Seamless, voluptuous and rich, yet with fantastic freshness and underlying structure, there is an overall elegance that is absurdly good! Outstanding!
