The 2020 Rosso I Viaggiatori seduces with an intense blend of cedary spice, chalk dust, sage, cocoa and dried black cherries, all lifted by a hint of lavender. This is seamlessly silky and serene with crisp blackberry fruits and cooling acidity. Mentholated freshness evolves toward the close. The palate is left stained with primary concentration and a web of fine-grained tannins as the I Viaggiatori finishes dramatically long and hauntingly dark. The 2020 demands more time in the cellar.
