One of the most striking features of this estate is that it abandoned wood and barrels forty years ago, using only vats to produce clean, pure, and precise wines. The chalky soils and cool climate of Chablis produce a perfectly lively and racy white wine whose taste is a little different from the Chardonnay of the rest of Burgundy. This Chablis village is very typical of its terroir with its aromas of white-fleshed fruits, its purity and its roundness.
