dark red; the nose gives a comfy aroma of sweet, simmered blackberry, licorice attached, has a little grunty depth. The palate is on sleek fruiting, off the bat it goes, so does its Crozes job, carries neat tannins, is ensemble and gives spontaneous drinking. Theres a touch of late gummy tannin that can absorb over another six to nine months. It has genuine Chassis darkness, ends on black olives, late oak. I like the fruit and texture, Graeme Bott. 2030-31 Oct 2023
