From old vines (average 90 years) planted in Marsannay. From the 2016 vintage, Cyril blended all of their Marsannay blancs into a single super cuve in honor of his daughter Charlie.
Soils: Clay and limestone
Winemaking: Grapes were 100% destemmed and cold macerated. Cyril takes extra care not to crush the grapes during pneumatic pressing in order to preserve the aroma and freshness. Made in 500 L barrels. The wine is then aged in 20% new oak barrels from the Vosges region for one year. No lees stirring. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

The 2019 Marsannay Cuve Charlie Blanc is lovely, offering up aromas of crisp orchard and stone fruit complemented by hints of nutmeg and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, textural and fleshy, its rich but chiseled, with tangy acids and a mouthwatering finish.
