These notes continue onto the palate, but are joined by lemon zest, molten honey on toast, marmalade and vanilla pods, with wood polish and marzipan appearing on the back palate. On the finish, waves of honey and spicy oak linger, with fruit-salad chews appearing after a minute or so. This is an excellent dram for a warm summers day.
