Our Tasting Note: Deep ruby, dark for a rose. The nose is full of crushed red fruits and wild flowers fresh cut, some mineral freshness. The palate is generous, dense, med+ bodied with slight and fine tannins, and a round texture from the lees aging. Long, fruit, and texturally full on the finish. For lovers of Tavel roses!
VARIETIES: 30% Merlot 25% Cabernet Franc 25% Cabernet Sauvignon 20% Malbec
VINES: Some of the grapes used to produce the ros come from vines that have not been trimmed which results in more lustrous and stress-free plants.
SOILS: A blend of calcareous-clay, clayey-gravely and clayeysiliceous soils
VINIFICATION: Cold maceration before pressing. Low temperature fermentation by wild yeasts to keep terroir characteristics
TASTING: This wine is both floral and fruity, beautifully full-bodied with a roundness on the palate. The finish is long and slightly vinous. A perfectly structured wine.
