The dark, purple-red color has reasonable depth, without being opaque. The nose combines restrained red-fruit with earthy notes, coffee & leafy touches The palate is quite typical of Gazin with lifted, fresh red-plum, rose & red soft-fruit aromas. There is lovely fresh acidity. A medium to light structure of fine tannins gives a little earthy grip. Balanced alcohol adds a little warmth to the finish, which has nice length.

Black berries and black plums on the nose with some tobacco leaf, graphite and bitter chocolate. Its focused on the palate, with firm tannins that melt and relax into the black fruit. Medium-bodied and well-structured. Mineral at the end.
