The color is a bright and clear yellow gold. Initially the nose is very fresh and expressive with notes of hawthorn, lilac, wild white flowers and fruit notes such as pear, plum and Mirabelle. The palate is straightforward with light notes of violet. Citrus fruit aromas dominate in this cuve: lemon drops and grapefruit sustained by pear and plum. On the palate, there is citrus, caviar and grapefruit. The finish has a long, refreshing note with a hint of saltiness and lemon.

The year was particularly favorable to Pinot Noir which shows here a good maturity, with a lot of fruit and body. Jean-Pierre Mareigner, Cellarmaster

Suggested Serving Temperatures: Between 10 C and 12 C (50 F and 54 F)

Founded in A in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne. It also remains one of the most prestigious, considered by many collectors and connoisseurs as the worlds preeminent name in luxury champagne.
Gossets reputation for excellence starts on the vines. Its champagnes are composed almost entirely of grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Unlike most Champagne producers, this illustrious wine house purposely avoids malolactic fermentation and always performs riddling and disgorging of prestige cuves and large-format bottles by hand. Gosset Champagnes are made with infinite care and kept in deep cellars for at least three years and up to five or more for vintage and prestige cuves before release.
