As a part of an ongoing exploratory series of single casks from Bruichladdich, this single malt whisky was distilled in 2009. The series examines all influences on aging Islay Single Malt Scotch whisky from vintage, wood, barley, storage location, humidity and heat. It was bottled in 2021 after aging for 11 years. In the glass, it has a beautiful golden hue. The nose delights with aromas of cloves and cinnamon adelicious spice bomb! Spice characters follow through to the palate but added flavours of apple and pear, and licorice appear. It then finishes with pleasant heat. Limited releaseonly 276 bottles!
