Named 1888 to commemorate the year of Brugal’s founding in the Dominican Republic – where their rum is still made today. Brugal 1888 Doblemente Aejado is double-aged; first in American oak bourbon barrels for up to 8 years, and then in Spanish oak sherry casks for up to 6 years. Afavourite among bartenders – it is uniquely dry, making it a great choice for cocktails.

Appearance: Deep amber in colour.
Nose:Experience notes of vanilla, red fruits, toffee, cocoa, cloves and a distinctive woodiness.
Palate: Smooth and balancedwith hints of caramel and wood.
