Non Vintage Verdelho 10 Year Old has a delineated, vivacious bouquet with dried quince, orange peel and a touch of sea water, perhaps demonstrating wider appeal than its uncompromising Sercial counterpart. The palate is medium-bodied with a pleasant honeyed texture on the entry, very well judged acidity, those oxidative/nutty notes neatly counterbalancing the sweetness and viscosity towards the finish with some aplomb. This is endowed with impressive length and harmony here, to wit, a perfect introduction to the delights of Verdelho.
