Sourced from vineyards in St. Helena, Rutherford, Chiles Valley, and Pope Valley. Theres a surprisingly tropical rush on the nose here, though it lacks the fruity exuberance of, say, a New Zealand sauvignon blanc. A strong grassy character tempers the fruit as it develops (and warms up a bit), and theres a hint of walnut on the finish. Its well balanced but not overly complicated, and definitely worth picking up.
