Released as part of Kilchomans 20th Anniversary Cask Series, this 14-year-old was drawn from five sherry butts filled in 2011. Its the smokiest of the anniversary range big, bold and brooding, with deep sherry influence and layers of spice and BBQ character. It was bottled at 55% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered. Nose: BBQ glaze, singed raisins and bold peat smoke, backed by cracked black pepper and dark cherries.

Palate: Warming and intense clove, liquorice, roasted nuts and sticky sherry-soaked fruit. A dark chocolate edge weaves through the smoke.

Finish: Sweet spice, savoury smoke and a final echo of grilled plums.
