The Chteau Bourgneuf vineyard, contiguous to Trotanoy, is situated on the slope of the Pomerol plateau.
Medium ruby-red in color. The dark-fruit on the nose has hints of prune & truffle-like aromas. Acidity is in balance. The palate is broad & rich with high-toned black-cherry fruit overlaid by hints of toasty oak. The structure is chocolatey smooth at first before more grainy, rustic tannins emerge to add some grip. Balanced alcohol adds some warmth & roundness to a generous finish.
