Pasilla Mixe is a rare chili grown only in the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca. Ripened on the vine, these are smoked in oak and mesquite in special bamboo and clay ovens, then steeped in sugarcane spirit for up to 12 months. Lightly sweetened with cane sugar, this liqueur has rich chili fruit, spice, smoke, and caramel aromas.
