Medium depth of ruby-red color with a vivid purple rim. Aromas are of restrained dark plum fruit, overlaid by chocolatey notes. The palate is of mid-weight & displays fresh red & black plum fruit. The fresh acidity lifts the fruit well & the alcohol is well in balance. The wine has fair length.
