Medium to deep ruby-red in color with a vivid purple rim. The slightly milky aromas show blackcurrant, redcurrant & cedary oak. The palate is structured, with a good initial grip which becomes more dense & chewy. Redcurrant perfume is quickly followed by dark-plum flavors on the palate. The mid-palate shows licorice & chocolatey notes. Alcohol adds a hint of warmth & roundness to the mid-palate. The finish lasts well.
