The palate is rich, powerful and penetrating. The wine slingshots a mouthful of flavour across your tongue and you are left with many succulent layers of spicy and dark fruit that flow. It is holding plenty in reserve and the tannins are fruitful but with a nervy persistence. This really has a strong core but comes across in waves and there is an evenness in this wine and it really is quite a ride. There is so much here to like and this will age brilliantly for the long haul. Its just so well balanced as a young wine from a great vintage. It will enjoy 12+ years in a good cellar, with ease. Defined, proud and succulent.
