A German-style dark lager with moderate malt character,somewhere between the malt character of an American dark lagerand a Munich dunkel. It is the darkest and often the most roasty ofthe dark lager styles. While the roast flavour is more apparent in thisdark lager than others, it is still not the intense roast, burnt, or acridflavour that you often find in stouts and some porters.
