92 Points – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

The 2017 Vieux Chateau Mazerat, blended of 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc, is deep garnet-purple in colour with a wonderful red currants, black raspberries and kirsch nose with hint of blueberries, roses, Marmite toast and damp soil plus a waft of chargrill. The palate is medium-bodied with a very plush frame and just enough freshness, finishing long and perfumed.
