In the mid-2010s, Ghislaine and Clment planted a 0.5-hectare parcel in Chambolle-Musigny to Chardonnay, thereby giving the estate its first-ever white wine. Aged for one year in a combination of 50% used 500-liter oak barrels and 50% terracotta jar, Les Graviers is sleek, pure-fruited, and satisfyingly clinging on the palate, with virtually no detectable oak influence.


90 Vinous (2022, 2023 NYR)
Bottled in August, the 2022 Bourgogne Blanc Les Gravires comes from vines planted in 2018 and aged in amphora, stainless steel and barrels with one weekly btonnage until Christmas. It has a resinous bouquet with hints of dried honey and linseed emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with tropical notes of apricot and pineapple. Theres good weight, yet the stainless steel aging hems it all in nicely. Quite delicious.
