Ren Leclercs 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin Lavaux-Saint-Jacques is a striking example of one of Burgundys most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards, renowned for producing some of the regions most powerful and elegant Pinot Noirs. Nestled on the steep slopes above the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, Lavaux-Saint-Jacques boasts well-drained, mineral-rich limestone and marl soils that lend the wine remarkable depth, complexity, and aging potential.

The 2022 vintage combined a warm, sun-drenched growing season with cool nights, resulting in grapes that achieved full phenolic ripeness while retaining vibrant aciditya perfect balance for this demanding terroir. Ren Leclercs meticulous viticulture emphasizes low yields, hand-harvesting, and sustainable practices to ensure optimal fruit quality and expression of site.

In the winery, the fruit is carefully destemmed and fermented with native yeasts, with gentle extraction techniques used to preserve the wines elegance and aromatic intensity.
