Our Tasting Note:
Medium and vibrant ruby red. The med+ nose was higher toned with red fruits on the nose, raspberry, cherry, wild strawberry, with spices galore that included the whole Provencal garden (thyme, rosemary, sage, lavender), with sandalwood and cinnamon spices adding further complexity. Med body, med/med+ tannins and acidity, med+ palate intensity. A long red fruited finish, garden herbs and spices, the tannins resonate more on the finish than the other wines.

Winery:From the high-density planting we have loved since 2014, and farmed ourselves since 2021! This is our most yin-balanced expression yet 1.98 acre vineyard off Refugio Road, Santa Ynez. Planted 2008 to Alban clone Grenache on 101-14. Fine sandy loam soils, spacing at 5 x 4. Native ferment, foot-tread daily for 14 days (pressed on day 15).
25% whole cluster., 10 month levage in french 220L barrique.
