Domaine Forey Morey-Saint-Denis 2022

The village offering from Morey Saint Denis is sourced from grapes in Clos Solon and and Les Crais. The vines were planted in 1966 and another section in 1986. Under most circumstances, Forey does not rack his wines during elevage, permitting the wines to rest on the fine lies until they are racked when ready for bottling.

Foreys Morey-Saint-Denis consists of two tiny holdings of vines between 30 and 50 years of age (one in Clos Solon and one in Les Crais.). The wine is fermented with 50% whole clusters and aged in (20%) 500-liter barrels.

This cuve displays impressive density and power with sappy fruit and a spice element on the finish.
