The 2023er Niedermenniger Im Kleinschock Riesling Kabinett was harvested in an old and partly un-grafted vines in this privileged south-facing sector of the Sonnenberg vineyard and was fermented down to barely fruity-styled levels of residual sugar. It offers a superb nose made of bergamot, citrusy elements, whipped cream, and slate. The wine proves superbly light on the palate, where a delicate touch of whipped cream is beautifully wrapped into ripe zest. The finish is superbly playful and persistent. This is a great success! 2033-2043
