Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition is a unique single pot still Irish whiskey, triple distilled and initially matured in bourbon and oloroso sherry casks. It is then re-casked into tawny port hogsheads for a sweet finish.

Tasting Notes

Nose
The nose has buttery pastry and caramelized almonds notes, along with undertones of praline, dried cherry, and floral honey.

Taste
On the palate, it is rich and nutty with notes of chocolate-coated hazelnuts and salted caramel. It is followed by fresh plums and dried figs, and orange marmalade, with hints of toasted oak.

Finish
The finish is long and lingering with pot still spices and fruits slowly fading, leaving the tawny port seasoned oak to have the final say.
