Doc Swinsons Exploratory Cask Garryana Straight Bourbon is a unique expression that highlights the richness of the Pacific Northwest terroir. Master Blender Jesse Parker has focused on exploring new oak species, and the opportunity to work with Quercus Garryana, also known as Oregon oak, was too good to pass up. This species of oak is found in the Pacific Coast region, from Northern California to Southern British Columbia, and is grown in Doc Swinsons backyard. The marriage of our signature whiskeys and Oregon oak barrels offers deep, dark, and complex notes ranging from molasses, toffee, clove, Italian plum, and wood smoke.
