A first of its kind bottling from Velier that combines rums from two of Jamaica’s most iconic distilleries. Pot still rums from both Hampden and Worthy Park estates were each aged a minimum of 7yrs at their respective sites prior to being blended together to create this strange and beautiful creature. The Worthy Park rums were aged entirely in ex-bourbon barrels, while the Hampden component of the blend is split between rums aged completely in ex-bourbon and completely in ex-sherry casks, lending the blend some unexpected depth and dark fruitiness. Stone fruit, dried fruit, grassiness, and savory umami notes dominate, with a softer landing than is typical for pot still rums. At once wild and elegant. Bottled at 47% abv.
