Riazuleno Classico Mezcal Espadin Joven is made from 100 percent Espadin agave cultivated in the state of Oaxaca’s foothills region, in the city of San Dionisio, Ocotepec in the Jalisco highlands. The pinas are cooled in conic pits with hot volcanic rocks for up to three days before being covered with a hay-like cloth to keep the smoke in.

The result is a complex spirit with aromas of luscious tropical fruit, sweet agave, and smokiness. On the slightly sweet palate, bright notes of green apple and roasted agave mingle with deep flavors of cinnamon, moist stone, and mineral.
