A boldly aromatic and intensely delicious mixer that has been brewing for a long time, we wanted to get this mixer just right. Rich, creamy, and decadently delicious, our versatile espresso elixir is crafted with our partners at Bittermilk and delivers the signature flavor of our Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel-Aged espresso beans from Good Folks Coffee.
The deep flavor of signature Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel-Aged espresso is layered with hints of sweetly charred oak, buttery caramel, and velvety vanilla and blended with dreamy notes of burnt sugar, demerara sugar, and rich cacao for a creamy, balanced, and smooth espresso elixir. Offering the ideal flavor combination for a classically decadent Espresso Martini, bold Espresso Old-Fashioned, or even a delightfully sweet morning cold brew.
For a classically creamy and elevated espresso martini, shake with ice and vodka and serve in our Pappy & Company Signature Keys Coupe Cocktail Glass for an added touch of understated elegance and vintage-inspired sophistication. Finish with the traditional three whole coffee beans, signifying health, wealth, and happiness. Cheers.
Our Espresso Elixir is the result of a collaborative effort that combines our cocktail partner, Bittermilk, with our coffee partner, Good Folks Coffee. Bittermilk, based in Charleston, S.C., is a small husband and wife team who desired to simplify the process of making craft cocktails at home, delivering a line of cocktail mixers made by bartenders for cocktail enthusiasts that are crafted with real ingredients and bottled by humans. The rich flavor of Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Barrel-Aged Coffee comes from our neighbors in Louisville, Good Folks Coffee. A small team, who just as their name indicates, value their relationships with people above all.
Directions:
For an Espresso Martini, use a 1:1 ratio; for an Old Fashioned, consider a 1:4 ratio for the right balance of sweetness. Vigorously shake with ice, strain, and serve.
